Week in Review: September 16-22

Rock Hill-York County Airport welcomed a varied mix of business jets, corporate turboprops and helicopters during the week, with Monday producing the busiest notable-aircraft lineup.

Highlights included a nearly new Bombardier Challenger 3500, recurring Falcon 900 N70FK and two Pilatus PC-24s. Citation XLS N431CB, King Airs N32DC and N8EF, and locally owned Vision Jet N749AM made repeat appearances.

Helicopter activity was especially prominent late in the week. Atrium Health EC135 N366AH made multiple medical-related visits, while Duke Energy’s 2025 Airbus H145 completed a Tuesday round trip from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Flight Notes: Tuesday’s notable activity featured two Embraer business jets, a King Air 200 and extensive helicopter activity involving Atrium Health and Duke Energy aircraft.

The newest aircraft of the day was N45KV, a 2025 Airbus H145 registered to Duke Energy. The helicopter completed a midday round trip between Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Rock Hill.

A Pilatus Aircraft-owned PC-24 operating as PCH1 arrived from Chattanooga during the afternoon after beginning the day in the Denver area. Flight-tracking data identified the aircraft as N621SV.
