About York County Agenda

York County Agenda is an independent, hyper-local publication focused exclusively on York County, South Carolina. Founded in 2026 by seasoned media executive and longtime Carolina’s newspaper leader Kelly Mirt, the Agenda was created to provide consistent, community-centered coverage of one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing counties.

Our stories focus on Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, York, Clover, Lake Wylie and the surrounding communities, with coverage spanning business and economic development, real estate, restaurants and dining, local government, schools, health care, sports, local aviation, nonprofits, and the people and organizations shaping York County.
