Week of Sept. 23-29 in Review

Rock Hill-York County Airport recorded approximately 477 total flights during the seven-day period, including piston-powered general aviation and training flights.

Business-jet activity included a Bombardier Challenger 605, Dassault Falcon 900, five Cessna Citations, two Cirrus Vision Jets, an Embraer Phenom 100, an Embraer Phenom 300 and an Eclipse 550.

The Ventura-operated Challenger 605 was the week’s largest transient visitor. It arrived from Atlanta on Wednesday and remained at Rock Hill until Saturday. Falcon 900 N70FK completed a trip to Atlantic City, returning Monday afternoon.

Pilatus PC-12s produced the most frequent business-aircraft activity, including flights involving N132AS, N191PG, N543DP, N883CC, N939HE, N18007 and two aircraft using rotating corporate or manufacturer call signs.

Atrium Health’s EC135, N366AH, remained the airport’s most active recurring turbine aircraft, completing numerous medical flights between Rock Hill and regional hospitals.
