According to GasBuddy, gasoline prices across York County show a 25-cent difference between the highest and lowest community averages, with Clover posting the county's highest price at $3.84 per gallon and Fort Mill recording the lowest at $3.59.
Rock Hill and Lake Wylie each averaged $3.68 per gallon, while York came in slightly lower at $3.66.
Across South Carolina, prices were generally lower than those in York County. Greenville recorded the lowest average among the markets surveyed at $3.55, followed by North Myrtle Beach at $3.56 and Columbia at $3.57.
Charleston averaged $3.63, while Hilton Head posted $3.67.
Clover's $3.84 average was 29 cents higher than Greenville's, the lowest-priced market in this week's snapshot. Fort Mill, meanwhile, was among the least expensive communities surveyed across the state.
